Delighted to confirm Southern Landscape & Construction Ltd have now been awarded the contract to carry out the works in OR Tambo play and nature area.  

The approach will be phased, with the work starting on the nature garden area in mid-July. The site will then be dormant throughout August so children can access the playground during the school holidays. 

Contractors will then be back on site in early September to start work on the playground, with completion due for November.

Please find below the revised masterplan reflecting community preferences and project budget limitations. We have been working hard on this project the last couple months and think that we have been able to find a good balance. We have retained the key design elements and specifically the play equipment favoured by community whilst also increasing social spaces, trees and improving access. We are very excited about the next steps. The works have gone out to tender and will be updating you again here soon!
